My son for the past week has believed that in the real world his body is really dead and that he is trapped in a dream by a ghost and can't escape. He actually experiences hearing our thoughts and seeing our actions while in this delusion. He is having a hard time coming to grips with this one and how to fight it. We sit before he goes to bed each night while we try to rationalize a way to convince him that he is indeed still alive and not really in a dream, trapped and dead in the real world. I wonder how long this one will last. Anyone have any ideas how to help him out of this one?
