Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.

Hello. I do not have Sarcoids, my spouse does. We just received a confirmed diagnosis yesterday. It feels like our biggest problem is no one knows what to expect. Right now there is a problem with breathing, but we don't know what will happen next. I guess I'm just looking to talk to people who have been dealing with it to find out what to expect, how bad could it get.
Thank You

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

SARCOID AFFECTS EACH PERSON DIFFERENTLY. FEEL FREE TO ASK ME QUESTIONS, IF YOU HAVE ANY. GOD BLESS. TAKE CARE, STAY POSITIVE.
I would tell you not to read too much about the disease online!! Not everything you read is true. And like everyone said sarcoids takes a different path for all of us. There's no way to predict what will happen next. Trust me--I would love to know what's around the next corner with this disease. I have neuro, which started in my lungs--or so we think--they'll never know, but I have friends who have it and it never left there lungs and they never medicated. It went away for them. So remain hopeful and know we are all here for you if you have questions. And if you doubt what your doctor says at any time don't be afraid to get another opinion--not all doctors are schooled in sarcoids and how to treat it! I hope you have a great day today!! :)
