Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.

What type and level of Sarcoid do you have, did they say?
Mine in in my lungs, caused Pulmonary Fibrosis, now Pulmonary Hypertension, on prednisone for 2 years, coudamin and now Oxygen..going on the transplant list soon.
But have faith, My doc says I am the extreme, most people with Sarcoid go into remission and it never bothers them again....I must caution though that my brother also has sarcoid, though not as bad, in his eyes and lungs..and he goes in and out of remission..so it varies.
My only advice is to try to live as normal as you can, for as long as you can and hopefully your's goes into remission.
