Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.

I just popped a positive PPD,(TB test)so but the chest xray is negative for active TB, so I can't spread the disease. In 2003, I started having neurological problems, soon after I came back from a trip to Spain. I couldn't walk, and I was diagnosed with myoclonus, extreme fatigue, possible MS, and eventually fibromyalgia. It all came on all of a sudden. Within about a week. A year ago a couple of small fibroids were spotted in my lungs, and clots were ruled out. Since Active TB does not seem to be the case, does any of this seem to ring for sarcoidosis? It's just all to funky to not click together.
Thankfully, by the grace of God and my Irish temper, I have gotten my butt off the canes and I am walking again. Modern medicine(you can look at my list) helped. If anyone can help, please please offer suggestions.

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
Anyway, he now thinks I am having some immunological issues and liver disfunction because I reacted quickly to the TB meds and I can't take them. The sarcoidosis is ruled out, the nodule is definately negative and I have to have it scanned ever year forever.
So, I guess I will just keep an eye on it!
Thanks!!
