As I said in earlier discussions I was just recently tested and came back positive for RA. My hands are aching all the time and turning on the fingers. My legs from the knees down feel like (on bad days) I am having real bad growing pains. I wish I could just reach in and rub them. Now my mother was diagnosed with RA when she was in her 70's.....I am only 41. My hips burn sometimes and even I swear I had pain in my spine one day. The pain in the hands seems like all the time........some days worse. So I guess I am getting at is there anything I need to look forward to or if you think this is slow moving or........heck I dont know. I am just now prob. going on Methoxitrate (or however you spell it). The over the counter do nothing and I refuse to try the doc's anti-depressent idea because I dont like useing them. Sooooooooo any hints or advice?????

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
