When I was first diagnosed it was very difficult to get up and started in the mornings..I went and bought me an electric blanket because I kept getting so cold...Low and behold the heat from my blanket helped with the stiffness in the mornings...Now I use it 12 months of the year...I set it on 2 or 3 and I am not so stiff in the mornings..I don't hurt as much in the mornings either, well unless I am in flare up...Even then it isn't as bad in the mornings...I just love my electric blanet...I hope this will help someone else too...
