I am assuming this has happened to many of you, just want to see if it's just me. I met with a Rheummy on Friday. What a joke. This guy is also a PCP so I shouldn't have been so surprised. After reading my 2 page hitory that I typed for him including a detailed two week symptoms list, he felt all my joints and told me I just have Hypermobility Syndrome. What a quack! I have been doublr jointed all my life, that doesn't cause symetrical pain in multiple joints at the same time, or a low grade fever, or swelling and stiffness in the morning. Hypermobility can lead to more injury, I'm not injured! To top it off, my wrist bone is sticking out twice as far as normal, he has no clue! What the $#&@! I've seen 4 doctors now and nothing. Anyone know a good Rheummy in Boston?
