My last two Rheumys have wanted to approach this illness "aggressively" and have both been really stating that it is time to try either Remicade, Enbril, or Humira. Within the last couple years I have had some pretty bad flare ups, calling for tapping & injected steroids in 3 different areas (both wrists & my left knee), but quite frankly I am used to this kind of stuff happening off & on in my life. They have yet to produce a new x-ray that shows additional deterioration of any joints so I really really need a good reason to want to use this kind of stuff. I have done some reading on the topic of these drugs & it just left me more scared. Can anyone tell me how they decided to finally try one of these treatments and exactly how it has helped them? If I knew for instance, that it would definitely give me more energy, flexibility etc. then I would be less scared & more enthusiastic about trying one. Thanks for any help. :)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
