my insurance is crap and covers like $100 towards enbrel which still leaves my copay over $4000, so its pointless and theres no way i can pay for it.
i got denied by the encourage foundation because my insurance says they cover enbrel but they dont say that its only like $100. so thats considered "coverage" so the foundation cant do anything for me. In other words my insurance covers nothing i have no money and they wont help me with medicine i desperately need

i used the enbrel support card to get a month supply, i have one injection left then im SOL.

so does anyone know of any organizations or foundations that ACTUALLY help people that need it?

is anyone currently getting assistance to hep pay for enbrel?

its working for me and i need it so desperately and it just seems like no one wants to help me.

Check further into the Enbrel support card. Mine covers at least 6 months. I think it is more like a year, but 6 months for full co-pay and then I think 6 months where my copay in $10.00.

Tootsiesmom is right. Call Enbrel again. They have been great in covering the cost.

Did you talk to your rheumy's office? Maybe someone there will be kind and give you some help figuring this out.

This is a link to the Enbrel site....with different "support" options. They even state they can refer you to other associations for support if need be.

My doc knows i got denied from the foundation so he is talking to a sales rep trying to figure out how to get it for me. Also the pharmacy that sent memy first injections is looking further in to why i was denied cause he said thered no way i shoulda been, and i agree. My insurance covers basically nothing and i thought these foundations were out to help people that needed it, but apparently they help everyone but me.

Worse comes to wosre i/may need to drop my insurance so then the foundation would help cause i dont have insurance. Eveyone says they wana help but when u need it the most they dont care.

Im hopeful that someone will be able to help me

I took Enbrel over a year and Enbrel paid for all of it for 6 months then I paid only 0 dollars for the rest of the time, try again it should pay

Go to my earlier post under insurance wont pay. Im in the same boat, enbrel gave me support for over 3years now, but my insurance is switched me from major medical benefits to pharmacy benefits and even though enbrel pays half my benefits run out this month so my rheumy said to applt for the assistant program not sure the name of it but she said id be getting it for free and if i don qualify then they would supply me til jan when obama care kicks in and then everybody would be able to get meds they need. Ask enbrel again they really are good in helping people. Good luck.

Enbrel Support covered mine completely for 6 months, then left only a five dollar fee each month after that. I was on it over two years and never had to pay more that the five dollars. I would definitely call them!

I am using both my company insurance and the Enbrel Support card. My out of pocket is "zero" for six months and then $10 per month for the rest of the year. Then I renew and start it all over again. My insurance company denied me at first, and I called to argue with them. I asked for a senior support person, and was on the phone for over 1/2 hours, but I did get what I wanted so in the end, it was worth it. Best thing I could have ever done.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
