Hi! I'm new here and also relatively new to my diagnosis. I was diagnosed almost a year ago after many years of pain that had set in after the birth of my daughter. I did steroids at first to help before we decided on what route to take with meds, but that didn't control the flares so I moved up to methotrexate about 6 months ago.
One thing I've been noticing over the last few years is weird muscle weakness that I now attribute to the increasing RA symptoms. But just recently I've also noticed that although I'm exercising MUCH more than I was a year ago, I seem to be inable to build muscle. I've also been in physical therapy since January for some back issues and all of the sudden I've lost muscle in my right hip and the PT person doesn't know how to explain it.
Is there something else I should be concerned about, or are these just normal symptoms that you all have experienced as well? I'm trying to figure out if I should go back to the RHEUM or just deal with it.... :/
Thanks in advance for any advice and or help!
Marlene is doing better. Appears she may not have the Virus after all. Praise to the Great Physician.
