My daughter was diagnosed with JRA in Nov. of 07', when she was 7 yrs old. A good family friend who is also a Doctor of Chiropractic medicine told me never to put her on DMARDs. Well, our insurance doesnt cover chiropractic, or naturopathic treatments, so we put her on methotrexate under the directions of the doctors at St. Louis Childrens Hospital. She started it about 4 months ago, and we got a call today about her elevated liver enzymes at her last check-up which was Aug. 11th. I am beating myself up pretty bad right now. Anyone out there know anything about this?
