Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
There are two I could think of that really irritate me--the first is people who eat/chew VERY loudly, it drives me nuts! My husband has a friend that does this and I can't stand it. The other pet peeve is that it seems like when you call any major company these days you have to listen to some stupid recording for like 20 minutes before you can actually talk to a human--very frustrating!
I tried punching zero, while my blood pressure mounted. By the time I got a human I was so made I was shouting! I apologized repeatedly and another 30 minutes later arranged an appointment. The only reason I can talk about this is because the technician is here now working on the problem.
Sorry to rant on, but I HATE COMPUTER ANSWERING PROGRAMS THAT GO BEYOND SIMPLE MENU CHOICES - I WANT TO TALK TO A HUMAN!!!!!
One of my biggest is watching bad parents. I find it just horrible when I watch parents (usually mothers) let their child hit them! WTF? If I were to have hit my mother, boy would I have gotten it! Second, it seems so common to see a parent constantly giving their child things for bad behavior, thus reinforcing that their bad behavior got them their treat! They say No, but don't mean it. What are they trying to teach? In my head, what their teaching in all of these cases is their parent is a push over and if you are obnoxious enough, you'll get what you want!
i also agree with the eating loudly & hearing unnecessary cell phones calls in public places.
Oh and i totally agree about the phone conversations. Everytime i ride in the car with my sis i spend the whole trip listening to her talk. Ugh!
Also, I recently found out that my bank is deducting atm purchases when they appear as a temporary hold on the account (like when you pay a resturant tab with a debit card. They put it thru to make sure the money is there, but don't finalize the sale until you have added a tip). This is a problem because many places put holds on your account as you purchase, but don't finalize the sale until the end of the week. This means that if they accidentally put your sale thru twice, your funds are frozen until they put the final correct sale thru - sometimes 5 to 7 days later. I got some bounce charges because of the changes in the way they process debit card payments. I am now writing checks because I can't take the chance that when I need access to my money it won't be there...hugs jilly
