I have not been formally diagnosed with RA, but have been suffering through hand joint pain for over 6 months. I went to my GP, who took xrays and said nothing was wrong. After about 2 months of that, she sent me to an Ortho, who said that he saw some changes in my fingers and recommended that I see a Rheum. Instead I was sent to a neurologist, who ran about 1,000 blood tests. My RA factor was negative, but I had slightly elevated SED and elevated gammaglobin. How long does diagnosis usually take? I am tired and my hands hurt...

Does anyone know if a better RA forum than this one? I always loved to come here. I would read a lot & post some. Now it's so hard for me to read the posts.
