Hey team,

I am seeing the rheumatologist for the first time today. I have waited for months for this appointment and I am nervous and a bit excited at the same time. I don't want to hear what's wrong with me but I also want to be comfortable holding things, and walking for more than 20 minutes.

I took my husband with me and was very glad because he remembered to ask things and helped me clairfy things for the doctor. Then later on he was able to help me remember things she'd said that I either didn't catch or had forgotten. It's tough to keep everything straight when there's so much info flying around and you only have a small window of time of absorb it all! Good luck and we'll be waiting to hear all about it. : )

Thanks everyone ! Its been determined that it's nothing autoimmune!!! I have scoliosis and possibly a muscular condition. I did blood work and am going to have my breathing tested next month. Thanks for the support when I went through this scary time in my life! I am so happy and relieved!!

Wow that is fantastic!!! What a great gift to hear that you don't have a disease your stuck with from now on!

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
