I got woke from a dead sleep this morning, as did everyone else in the region, by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake! I have lived in this area my entire life, and have never even felt a tremor. We were taught in high school about the New Madrid faultline which I live in the area of. This mornings quake was centered 8 miles northwest of Mt. Carmel Illinois, real close to the Indiana border. I think there is a faultline in Indiana as well call the Wabash?? I woke up to hear my bed rattleing. Thought it was my oldest climbing in bed with me. I didnt see hi so I stood up to go to the restroom and the floor was shaking. Then I got scared cause I wasn't sure what it was. So I turned on the TV and waited an hour for hte morning new to come on. I couldn't sleep. They said there was two aftershocks about 5am and 520am. I felt the one at 5am. Fortunately y kids slept through the whole thing. I told them this morning about it but they didn't understand. This is the scariedt thing I have ever endured, and ever hope to endure.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
