Hi guys. Hopefully someone here can give me some insight on Cobra Laws and disability. My husbands' Cobra expires Oct 31st and I have applied to a COSTLY state program called ICHIP. ICHIP accepts individuals that cannot get insurance because of pre exisiting conditions, however MUST have used up all Cobra first. This is an extremely costly policy, almost $2000 a month and it is a BC/BS PPO. I just received a letter from the state advising me that my cobra rights may be able to extend an additional 11 months because I have been deemed a person with a disability. I immediately went to the government website and looked up cobra laws. I am not sure how I qualify as my disability was approved back to June 03, but July of this year was the first month I received a payment. Unfortunately it is Saturday and I have noone to call til Monday rolls around. Any knowledge you can impart on this complicated subject would be appreciated! hugs, marcia

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
