I had an appointment with my Orthopedist this week. He looked at the MRI and xrays of my feet and ankles and sent me straight to a foot doctor. The foot doctor informed me that RA is attacking the ligaments and tendons in both my feet and ankles. It is causing the structure of my feet to collapse, which is dislocating the bones in my feet and causing more arthritis in my feet and ankles. I have now been told by two doctors that I have to start using a power wheelchair. Has anyone else gone through this? Does anyone have any advice? Yes, I am asking for input and advice. I also have RA and OA in my knees, wrists, hands, fingers, and toes.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
