I am new here and would like to share my story briefly. I am 38 years old and have severe RA . 3 years ago I was diagnosed with lyme disease ans was treated with antibiotics for 2 weeks. Nothing happened except that I started feeling worse and the pain in my hands and feet was untolerable. I lived in an upstairs apartment at the time and recall having to crawl up the stairs on my knees, unable to walk. Found a rheumatologist ( a gorgeous one! haha) Had test done found out it was RA. Started methotrexate and it didnt help one bit. May I add that I couldnt do the simple things.....wash my hair...open a door with a key....button a blouse. Started Humira..... felt better in days. In a month pain free!!!! I take it 2x a month and tramodal when needed for a flair or pain.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
