my mom was diagnosed 3 years ago and shes just been getting worse and worse. she takes celebrex but her doctor keeps asking her to consider the methotrexate but she refuses. she takes perkocete for the pain but shes built up a tolerance. by the end of the day the meds have worn off and shes tired and in pain. shes has fallen many times and shes always bumping into walls because she has no balance. her swelling is unbelievable. i dont know what to do. im 18 and shes 45 and my brother is 14. shes a single mom and does house cleaning for a living which is a very physical job which also contributes to the pain. she says she wont try any other med becuse she doesnt want to lower her immune systme and open her self up to viruses. can you guys help me? what other meds could she take that wouldnt do that? what natural ways of treating it are there?
