I have heard that a low carb diet helps with RA. I was wondering if it had made anyone feel better. Since i've started steroids i've gained alot of weight which is killing my joints... even more than normal. Its hard for me to get active since i'm in so much pain. I had read online that low carb diets can help you lose weight faster and give you more energy since carbs tend to slow you down. Just wanting to know if its worked for anyone... or what you have done.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
