I had a successful kidney removal 2 weeks ago and had my follow-up appt with a nepheologist yesterday. She commented on my high creatinine level. It is causing my kidney to be functioning at a 61% level. She has me doing further urine test to see if we need to be concerned about it. My question is should I be concerned about it now. When she said my kidney was functioning at 61% I got concerned. She did say that could be because I have only 1 kidney now. Anyone else experienced this? I am a little concerned.
