My fiance is 60 years old and is having his Nephrectomy on Wednesday, he is going to start the flushing process on Monday. The doctor said the incision must be made in the front of his abdomen, and will be about 10 inches long. I need to know what to expect as far as what will be required for aftercare for him. Also at 60 is he at more risk that someone younger. He is a roofer by trade. Will he ever be able to return to his Job?Are there any suggestions that might help this weekend before the hospitalization. He is running an ongoing fever and they treat him for fever and send him back home. He has been running a fever for almost a week now.Between 100 and 104.
