I cheated during my first marriage for various reasons.
The second time around, during my current 8 year relationship I have been faithful and never wanted to bring that pain onto anyone else. However, I am now the one that has been cheated on, twice.
Sometimes I feel like I deserve it and it is karmic justice of some sort.
Has anyone else had this sort of experience?

I'm really sorry that you are going through this, and can't tell you if it is karmic or not. Just know that it happens to lots of people from all walks of life, and no one is immune. So why not you?

My H has been on every side of this one. His parents marriage ended due to cheating when he was a child and his dad married OW. He was cheated on by the GF he had before me. He cheated on me after 12 years of marriage with someone he met in a chatroom. I don't think karma has anything to do with it. Just really poor choices. I do believe in karma, but believe it is the result of continued bad deeds.

The OW was cheated on in her marriage yet she had an affair with a married man. She was really hurt by her husband yet she did it to someone else. Karma may happen but I haven't seen it.

I don't know if it's karma or not, but I will say I know now the excruciating pain I put my ex through and I am now more profoundly sorry then before.

I have no problem excepting my blame in the affair, no one cheats in a vacuum.
Also, reading some of the discussions here have helped me to verbalize some of the things I have been feeling just not knowing had to express....so thanks!

My husbands first wife cheated on him and thats why I can't understand why he is being so much in avoidance of my pain and fears.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
