I was wondering if any of you may have read the book, Eat Pray Love, written by Elizabeth Gilbert?
I just wanted to reccommend it as a great read. I'm enjoying it tremendously. I haven't seen the movie on purpose--I don't want to spoil the book. But I plan to watch the movie when I'm done with the book.
It is a story about a woman and help journey of self discovery. I'm a little over half way through and I'm taking a lot from this book. When I began reading---it was just for fun, but I'm learning a lot about myself as I read.
I highly reccommend this to anyone--male or female. Her next novel, Committed, looks interesting as well, and I plan to read that too. In this book, she attempts to "turn on all the lights" when it comes to matrimony, frankly examining questions of compatibility, infatuation, fidelity, family tradition, social expectations, divorce risks and humbling responsibilities.
