I'm not sure exactly what I'm trying to say or ask here but, I wanted to know if other problems or disorders come from being raped? For example like OCD, or eating disorders. I mean, is it common to develop these things after a rape or something traumatic? I'm not saying everyone does. Some do though, right? Depression, in my opinion is something I imagine every rape survivour goes through, or panic/anxiety attacks. Anything else that can manifest itself over time that in a way has to do w/ what happen but your not exactly sure how they relate? I ask b/c my problems seem to be increasing w/ something new everyday & I never had problems like this before my ordeal.

Remember that your assault did not happen in a vacuum, it is not contained. As in every experience, you bring to it the good, the bad and the ugly.
I have been dealing with depression since I hit puberty - more than 20 years ago. However, it was only after I was raped 11 years ago that we were able to put a name to it.
If you are in counseling, this is something you should talk about with your counselor. If you have not yet sought counseling, your body might be telling you it is time. People are like soda pop bottles - they can only take so much shaking up before they need to let some of the pressure off.
