So, I am going to be able to start the counseling that I've been putting off... I know it's different for everyone, but does anyone know how long someone is typically in therapy (statistically speaking anyway)? I have 10 free sessions which I know will not go the distance but I just want to start lining up my next option so there's no lag time if it goes well. Any suggestions, or anyone willing to share how long they've been in therapy? Was there a time where you left with adequate tools when you couldn't go anymore but still felt equipped to help yourself?
