After a year of being diagnosed with Pulmonary Emboli and a DVT in the leg I haven't had much situations with shortness of breath until recently. I have had some leg pain but when I went to my doctor two months ago I had a Doppler done on my leg and it was confirmed that my blood clot was completely dissolved. The shortness of breath has been consistent for the past three days, however I haven't had any leg pain prior to this, however the area where my DVT hurts on occasion but nothing unbearable like when I was diagnosed with a DVT last year just minor pain which has been consistent since last year. I seem to have a regular heartbeat despite the shortness of breath. I would call my cardiologist but he is in Philadelphia and I am in Boston and don't know if I should go to the ER. I know it's better to be safe then sorry but I just don't want to go to the ER and sit for hours and not even have a doppler done until a few days later, if I end up being admitted into the hospital. I'm still in my range for my INR and on coumadin. I was just wondering if anyone has had anything happen like this aka shortness of breath for a few days out of the blue and then nothing?

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
