I was diagnosed in August 2008 with clots in both lungs after being misdiagnosed twice with pneumonia. I was walking around for 8 weeks w/ clots! I am still having pain when I take a very deep breath. Not as severe as when I was diagnosed. ( I could not even lay flat when I had the clots in my lungs), but the pain seems to be a constant reminded and scary. My hematologist ordered another CT of the chest which showed no clots, but some scarring. I wasn't able to talk directly w/ my doctor but was wondering if anybody else experienced same problem and is this something my body should heal over time or will this be forever? I live on an emotional rollercoaster! Any ideas?
