Wednesday, September 23, 2009 Hi, I'm new to this format, so bear with me. I'm about a month out from my PE in left lung. Like many on the site already, no apparent reason. All blood tests, etc normal or neg. for a clotting disorder. Do have a family history with an older brother having severe PE and a filter. Anyway, my question - Is anyone experiencing a rapid pulse post PE and the coumadin routine? I have not reached my theraputic level yet; getting close, maybe next week. My O2 level is good, but the heart rate is 15 to 20 beats faster than my normal prior to my PE. Still short of breath, but no pain. My "normal" appears to be 95 or so, and easily up to 120 after some exercise or excertion. The Dr didn't appear to be concerned, but I wonder what is going on.

I love him dearly.The problem is ......
