So, maybe I'm in denial....but I don't worry about having another PE. I had one after the birth of my daughter by C-Section in October 07. It was so small, the doctors in the hospital debated whether I even had one. Ultrasounds of the legs never showed evidence of a clot and they could never figure out where it came from (IF the small dot on the lung scan was even PE). Blood tests after stopping the coumadin showed no blood disorders Regardless, I want to have more children and my OB insists I go through treatment for the 9 months (injections twice a day). Forget about me HATING the injections, but last time I was on them they cost an arm and a leg (will cost me $14,000 alone during a pregnancy if I need this). My OB was the one previously who insisted I be put in ICU, when another specialist brought in on my care due to the PE thought I could be cared for on the maternity ward. At this point, I want to have other children but don't want the treatment. My OBGYN says he won't keep me as a patient if I refused treatment.....am I in denial or should I get a second opinion?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
