Hi, y'all. I just joined and I'm thrilled to find you. I was in the ER on Oct 4 and in the hospital for 5 days. Now I'm waiting for the hematology tests to see if this was due to the appendectomy in August and the broken foot three weeks later - or if it's genetic. I love my hematologist, but it really helped to see your insights about recovery. The recurring chest pain, especially when I get stressed, is a bit concerning so it was good to read what everyone had to say, and also to hear how tiring it is to just walk (in my case crutch since I'm still in a cast). I mostly feel grateful that these PEs were found before they became serious - a colleague had passed away two weeks before from a PE after breaking her foot. I haven't really looked into the future and I'm hoping recovery won't get too much in the way of exercise, my job, and frankly my life. How long did it take y'all to get back to your pre-PE energy levels?

It hurt for a...

Went awhile on that track but it wasn’t getting better. It’s still not any better In the last couple weeks, I’ve started talking to him again. We ended up...
