I went to the kidney doc (I have an excellent rapport with him) yesterday for a follow up, I asked him about my PEs since he had all the reports, and he explained to me the reports from my CT scans of my PEs. He told my that I will definately have necrosis from the two infarcts in my right lung and it will br permanent. I have seen my pcp and lung drs (the lung dr spent like 5 minutes with me) neither will discuss the permanent damgage to my right lung until all the clots have re-absorbed. I just was wondering if anybody else had permanent lung damage following PEs and infarctions?
