Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Turns out I found a Doctor to give me the Lovenox in his office so I could leave while they are still trying to adjust my level which has been anywhere from 2.3 to 4.4. They have me skipping doses. I am down to 7mg of Cumadin a day and no vegetables at all. Don't forget green leafy vegetables and even marinara sauce and raise your level. The Mayo Clinic has a website with a Coumadin diet on it that tells you which veggies are low, medium and high in vitamin K. That is what messes up our levels. Judy
