Hi I am 23 years old I am wanting to see if anyone has a family history of a PE. I had a PE in july 2009 so just recently but when my mother was 31 which was about 21 years ago she died of a PE. My doctors here are looking into it but dont seam to know how or why but both of ours started in our knee and went to our lungs. It would be helpful to know so it could give me a idea as to if this is common or not. I have a 7 year old daughter and it scares me to death that i could of given this to her. Any help I would be gratefull. Sara.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
