Coming off the Coumadin in two weeks
My hematologist is stoping my coumadin in two weeks to finish the genetic tests that couldn't be done while on the meds. I'm a little anxious since every little ache pain and headache sends me into a panic attack bu I am excited too. The side effects are horrible. I'm so tired of having a couple good days with lots of energy then I'm drained, sore and short of breath the next two. My chest muscles get so tired some days especially when I drive alot that day. It feels like I've lost so much muscle even though I'm still very active. Has anyone else had similar side effects?

I’m told once my INR gets to 2.4 I can come off the IV and go home. I was initially told it takes about 3 days. It’s been 3 days of oral warfarin and my INR this more was 1.4. This is crazy I just...

I went to the ER about 48 hours after the symptoms...

I had to have a lung biopsy, and I have cancer. A very rare form that doesn't have any standard treatment. There just isn't a lot of case history for this. It is epithelioid hemangio endothelioma. The cancer support group doesn't talk every day. I can understand why. I'm waiting for the oncologist to call back for an appointment, and will hear in the next few days. Who knew. Ha!
Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
