I have been reassured by reading the profiles and discussion points. I was struck by the similarities in peoples symptoms and this was really comforting for me as I couldn't find any info about how you should feel following PE how long it takes to recover and so on. However I was particularly struck by the commonality of the symptoms of Anxiety which people reported. I also have expereinced palpatations, sweats, dizziness and breathlessness. In my acute episode paramedics where called and told me I was suffering from a panic attack and didn't take me to hospital as a result I lay in a hotel for another 24 hours and then drove home over a 6 hour period from Oldham to Scotland and eventually went to my GP who sent me to Casualty and I was admitted and diagnosed. I would like to challenge the idea that we are all suffering from Anxiety!! I really believe these are symptoms of the PE or the Warfarin possibly and I would be very interested to hear other peoples views.
