After I had my PE, I of course, started researching on the internet and found out some interesting info. Having IBD puts you at a higher risk for clots. I've had Ulcerative Colitis for about 5 years now. I was quite surprised to hear that, it's not something that any of my docs (including my GI) have ever mentioned. It makes me wonder if that was a contributing factor to my situation.
