definitely get on meds. we have had this discussion on here about the possibility of scratching it making it worse. if this is true, medicating the psoriasis while still mild, i think, would be your best bet at it going away.
** sorry to speak for many people here. this is just my opinion based on personal experience and what i have read on this board. **
Just to let you know,I do salon tan my psoriasis(if you've got early onset it's especially easier to reduce and get rid of spots instead of waiting for a full blown outbreak like I did). You'll notice your psoriasis getting light pink and then the area getting white(because it's all gone and the underlining skin is not tanned). That's another solution too. OR the best is to get a self tanner(make sure it's colour tone is right for your skin). It reduces the look of acne scars, but also make the contrast of red p not as noticeable.
With combined tanning and make up concoction I use,you have to get REALLY close to my face to even know I have P. I dye my hair blonde(natural brunette)because blonde hair reduces the look of white scaly skin by 80%.
Sorry this is long winded. I just thought to let you know what I've used(which is not for everyone as far as tanning or dying hair).
I've used it on my face for ages and I swear by it. It doesn't compltely cover all the patches but at least makes them less visible- and less raw. And actually with all this thermal water in it seems to be quite soothing as well, so I don't have to put my mosturizer on all through the day.
It's worth trying, good luck- cos you never know what is going to work for you.....That's why I hate it- no solution for everybody, just trying and failing- most times. Good luck, x
