I had my Vp shunt surgery in March of this year and just got a job about 3 weeks ago...with the shunt Ive only had 3 extreme headaches...since i started my job ive been having a very sharp and painful stabbing pain right on the catheter line...I was wondering if anybody has any ideas or anything...i go back to see the NS in August...since one night the pain was so bad i was in ER...thanks ...happy 4th

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
