I HATE Diamox and hope to get off of it soon!
On the shakiness: How long has it been since your doc has done a blood panel on you? There may be metabolic problems going on with Diamox that make it a hard drug for you.
I'm only on 125mg of diamox right now, with 20mg of furosamide. I get metabolic acidosis on both Diamox and furosamide. We are trying to fix the problem. I feel extremely shaky, exhausted to the core of my being, hard to breathe, heart palpitations, nausea, like I'm going to faint, etc. It feels like a heart attack. Ick. Your problem is probably something else, but they should be watching your blood tests pretty carefully as you ramp up on a drug. My doc is taking blood weekly right now.
None of that explains my rather alarming memory gaps right now. Like, I lose hours out of my life. But that's another story.
