I have been coming to DS for many years now and never for this for sure.I am a proud Bipolard in other words. I have reached such desperation for some kind of understanding of what is going on in me that I need to know if there is someone else out there suffering alone sadly also.
My headache has gone on for 5 weeks now. Not at a moment here and there or when I bend over but 24/7. I have had to stop my job because I would stand suddenly grasping my head and cry hysterically in pain. FOR NO DARN REASON. Worse and worse, all the time, no reprieve. Ice didn't help, heat helped a few moments. THE INSIDE WANTS OUTSIDE! First the pain was just in the back towards the spine but then it gradually day by day moved upward till was my entire head hurting. To move my neck left to right, horrific. Up and down forget it. I continued to my nuerologist who said oh we'll TRY this place and if not we can TRY botox here in office after Insurance pre authorization. I have been to two different Nuerosurgeons who suggested the same procedure and the third "consult" the day before I believe agreed with the same conclusion of a nerve injection in C6/C7. WELL. the Dr flies in and briefly scans the papers (BUT i HAD TO HAVE THE FILMS) and says I'm a spine guy i'm not a head guy....you need a head guy. Heres what we'll do. WHAM BAM I had an Occipital Nerve Blocker on either side of my head. WHAT IN THE HELL JUST HAPPENED TO ME? The pain oh the pain...still there?? YES Now I feel like I have a balloon on my head and it hurts. Now what??????
Has anyone else out there had this illness. I was sick last year 2016 with it and almost died. I was on life support 6 days and my kidneys failed and much more. I don't remember my time in the hospital. I have had a headache for 4 weeks! Everyday! I'm wondering if this could be from the illness. Meningoencephilitis is having meningitis and encephilitis at the same time. I am 66...
i have been recovering from chemical meningitis caused by gadolinium contrast for the past nine months. My head still rings and my vision changes by the hour. I still have brain fog and pain. Anybody out there that has had gadolinium chemical meningitis ? My doctors have never treated anyone for this problem. I need some help. Thanks, Gadboy
