I was diagnosed officially in August with PTC with LP OP of 27. By then, I already had Paps and my Neurologist had me on diamox 1000mg. I was complaining a few weeks later of more eye pain and headaches so I went up to 2000 mg. I had another LP done about one month ago (one month after first) and OP was 13. My paps have responded well although I still have swelling in my left eye. I am being told that things are getting better but still "not normal" when he looks at my eyes. My Neuro yesterday, told me basically I am cured and he is taking me completely off diamox. Since my last LP was normal pressure and my paps have improved. Two days in a row, I have decreased to 500 mg of diamox and next week I go to every other day. I have been hit with bad dizzy spells again, especially at night and my eyes are very achy. Still have headaches on and off that are moderate. Has anyone heard of PTC lasting two months? I guess its possible. If you have one normal LP does that mean you are cured? Thats where he is going with this and I honestly feel like I am sliding very fast in a really bad place. Dizzy spells are horrible. Maybe I will just go to the ER if my HA get unbearable again...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
