So wome of you may remember me from 3-5years ago. Was diagnosed with ptc about 5 years ago in hawaii. Went to new mexico to a university hospital because i went blind n has a vp shunt placed in for the first time. Within 1 year i had my shunt revised about 8 times. Had shunt removed and then had bariatric surgery. Lost over 100 lbs withing a year. Stopped having headaches. Never gained a pound back and stopped having issues.. well up till july this year. I started blacking out and yup my headaches are back. Ptc is back with a vengance. Had another vp shunt placed that lasted a week before i got an infection. Took out the shunt and has been in the hospital for 2 months. Ive tried almost everything from drugs, to vp shunt.. i wont do the lp shunt because i already have back problems and from the sound of it or from what ive read its more problems then it helps... so they are telling me that theres a surgery to where they take out part of ur skull n shave it down to make room for the fluid. That was an idea i didnt really like. So im here in hawaii that thereis only 1 ns on the island. The dr plan on placing in another vp shunt this week. I guess im asking for any ideas on anything else they have tried other then drugs, lp and vp shunts? Im planning on moving to nc within the next 6 months. So i will be looking for a good just incase. Any suggestion? I will be in charlotte nc. So if anyone can give me any ideas or suggestions will help... u can email me personally at email@example.com

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
