i keep reading about people who have had there lps on there stomages i have had 12 this past year and have been in 2 different positions and one i was moved during the posidure(not a good idea on NS behalf) i was diagnosed after a emergency LP as menigecoccle(sp) was suspected i was put on my side balled up and "stabbed" in the back i was in tears and my headache was through the roof they only used one mesure tube but my fluid came out the top of it so they knew something was up because it was tramatic on the opening a low pressure headache followed but i think was expected.. The next was under x-ray guidance to test the pressure it was done on my stomage and the pressure was slightly above normal like 19-22 i think. the next was on my side and opening pressure was 39 this is a regular patten stomage lower, side straight or balled up they need 2 tubes to mesure as it is too high. dose anyone find they have high pressure on there stomages i mean like a on the side reading i would love to get a average so if you can remember and don't mind... What was the position and the opening pressure...
