I've been noticing that I have been losing hair like CRAZY lately. It comes out almost in clumps when I put my hair in a ponytail or am showering and trying to ring out the hair. Then, I went and looked at my brush, just last week I pulled a bunch of hair off and this week I had to as well and well, it's not usually like that for me.
Is this from pseudotumor?
Also, I'm thinking of cutting my hair.....partly because of it and partly because I feel like I can't handle the extra weight on my head. If I was gutsy enough I'd probably shave it, but I'm not, heh. What do you think of cutting it?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would go a little shorter, because that adds to the fullness.
Whenever we have life changes, we women tend to change our hairstyles, LOL.
Hope you are well, Ella.
i cut it because at first on diamox my hair grew like crazy then it just stopped growing and started to fall out faster then it was ( but i got tons of hair tons!) so i cut it thinking it would help and my hair stopped falling out as much. but it didn't make my head feel lighter at all
My hair is falling out as well. When I take a shower and wash it, its all over my hands as I wash.I know its normal to lose some hair but this us ridiculous! Good job I have a"full" head of hair.
But, my hairdresser said last month , that it had improved in its condition for the first time since I got sick. A line? Maybe , but I am going to believe her! Cath.
So that makes me wonder. Do any of you have the same speech problems. Transposing words when talking, not being able to pronounce words that would be simple like mission, forgetting the word or name of something, ie window, apple; simple words no longer look like they are spelled properly? These have NEVER been a problem for me until about 5 years ago...
Its still the same, But I know just how you feel. Yet, another symptom! Cath.
as for mushing words together i do that a lot or just forget what word i want. but as far as saying words it's hard for me to gagde i grew up going to speech therapy because i didn't say words right untill i was about 12 when i just stopped going
