Sometimes I get so pissed off about the last three years I spent addicted to oxycodone. I know it is my problem and I have to accept and own it, but how long should a dr. prescribe meds for pain? All it seems my "pain management" team ( I should have realized from the name) was interested in was spending my insurance company's money. Injections, more meds, more injections. My last script, after three and a half years of abuse, I even talked them into upping my dosage, AGAIN!!! I know there are people out there who are incapacitated due to pain and need help, but what happened to prudence? I know it eventually is my responsibility, and an addict is an addict, but what about their oath?
