My wife gave birth to a premee at 27 weeks. He is now 2 weeks old and has had (thank G-d) 2 weeks of good days. Not one bad day! The doctors are confident that he will be ok. I too am confident. However, my wife and I are very scared of the long term consequences of all this. I have heard/read that premees could have long term health and development problems. Are they exaggerated? All the stories I have heard (from people who know our situation) are good stories. But no one is going to tell us bad stories. The internet is scaring the crap out of me. Do most premees have regular/normal/healthy lives?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
