I've never liked veggies. Lettuce, potatoes and carrots are the only things I eat and not often...I recently tried the veggie juice mixed with fruit juice.... Is it better then nothing??

I would imagine so? Check tha label on it and see exctly what you're getting out of it, and cross check with your vitamins just to be sure you're getting a healthy dose of everything. (alternatively check with your doc/midwife) I think it would be better than nothing though!

It's not a total subsitute for the real thing, but it's better than nothing! My son HATES veggies, so he has to drink a cup of the V8 Splash every day to help supplement a bit. He also takes a daily vitamin though. I think as loong as you're taking your prenantal, and doing what you can, you'll be fine :o)

It's better than nothing. If you're a pasta eater, you could also try what I do with my boys - chop up veges such as broccoli really fine, and cook into your pasta sauce. They don't know the difference! And you get tomato in the sauce as well. Salsa is also good for you if you like it. And you're not the only pregnant woman not eating a ton of veges - I'm not all that great about them myself.

Its got to be better than nothing! I wish I had some cool tricks for eating more veggies, but I love them, so its never been an issue for me, other than buying them and eating them before they go bad. *L* I've been really bad at eating my veggies lately too though.

Check out some cooking shows or health websites and stuff like that. I'm not a massive veggie fan (or wasn't) till i looked up some recipe's that sounded yummy and now i can't get enough. Its just about finding what you like and sticking to it. I find having pre-cut raw veggies like carrot, celery, cucumber (the ones you can eat raw) with a bit of dip in the fridge makes me eat them, they're a tasty snack!

Thanks...I find the juice very sweet, at least the ones I've tried. I geuss that's why I'm able to enjoy them, but it has just as much natural sugar as the fruit juice alone...with no added sugars, so I geuss that's good. My concern is that on the label it says it contains 2 full servings of fruit and veggies per glass...but I'm wondering if I'm getting more fruit since fruits are the first things listed under ingredients...?

...and eating fruit is not a problem...I love it!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
