Today I went for another prenatal check up, and the resident doctor told me that I am gaining too much weight. It really took me by surprise because no one has mentioned anything about my weight until now, and I'm 26 weeks. I have gained 20lbs from the beginning of the pregnancy. They recommended eating lots of fruits and veggies, and walking. The problem is that I already do that. I eat a pretty healthy and balanced diet, and I walk our dog on a daily basis. What else can I do so that I dont gain too much weight. My weight gain has been between 4-7lbs a month. It really upset me, because they werent really nice about it...kind of made me feel like a bad mother, and the baby isnt even born yet. :(

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
