Last night I had terrible stomach pain (in my first trimester). So bad that my husband had to pick me up from school. I was in agony- from ''this position works and is comfortable' to 'OOOWWW, OOOOWWW!'. The pain came and went for about an hour and a half. We called a doc we knew, and he said to go to the emergency room, because in a pregnancy there can be complications. I've had pain like this before, just not that bad. My mom told me it was gas and it went away sooner. It felt that it was the smae kind of pain, just stronger, but I didn't want to take any risks, so I went to the emergency room where I slowly passed gas, felt completely better, and went home, (All before the doc even had a chance to take a look at me). Anyone have bad gas like this during pregnancy? What do you do for it? I was seriously in so much pain, that I couldn't drive home. Advice would be oh so appreciated, because it just might happen again.
